This is me at 5 years old. Wish I would have known back then half the stuff I know now…things would have turned out differently for sure.
I guess things haven’t turned out too bad though. People still comment on how I don’t look my age. That has become my goal…trying to stay looking about 5-10 years younger than my actual age.
Some of the products I have used seem to work for a while and others haven’t produced any kind of change at all. Maybe I am not looking deep enough for my beauty. Maybe I am not being diligent enough to find exactly what makes me beautiful.
Maybe just maybe all the money that I have spent over the years would make me a millionaire if I had just realized what real beauty is. We don’t get it from the media out there touting the next big cure for ugliness or sagging skin. I hate seeing the actresses who, I used to think were stunning because they looked unique, attack their faces and are now unrecognizable to say the least. It is a shame that we, as a society, have been raised to think that smooth skin, looking like you are 20ish all of your adult life, absolutely flat stomach (thanks Lady Gaga for being real) and long blond flowing hair are attributes of being truly beautiful.
I think that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder so be your own “beholder” starting right now…
